I’m on a free Lottie plan which only allows up to 10 Lottie animations. If I’m using the Lottie plugin in Webflow to add animations to my website and I delete an animation from my Lottie workspace, will it cause the animation to break within my Webflow project?
As much as I know, for any assets you have if you have used them on any page it will re-appear on the assets panel even if you delete them. It will appear after you publish and reload the designer.
By the way, this trick is used to clean up the assets panel when you have too many or unnecessary items.
@abirana Thanks! They seem to still be appearing in my assets panel, even though I added them with the Lottie plugin and then deleted them from my Lottie account. So this might be a small hack around upgrading to a paid Lottie plan.
I haven’t tried this myself, but from what I know, deleting an animation from your Lottie workspace will likely break it in your Webflow project. Once the animation is removed, Webflow won’t be able to access it anymore. To be safe, you might want to re-upload the animation in Webflow before deleting it from Lottie.
