IE formatting issue

Has anyone else had this issue with IE and/or knows how to solve it?

My client just sent me this picture with an error in the TEAM section formatting:

I have noticed that avoiding % on e.g. width and height solves a lot of layout problems in IE. you just have to play around with the elements to find something that IE displays right.

EDIT: sorry, I ment auto, not %. Use % instead of auto!!
