I can edit the name of a collection but not the page template name?

I know I can’t edit the slug of a collection but it has been nice to be able to rename collections. I also wanted to rename the collection page template via the pages section but editing is blocked. If the name of the collection can change why not the name of the collection page template?

Now the template page names will match the collection names.
