When experiencing image upload issues in Webflow, here are some important troubleshooting steps:

  1. Ensure your image meets Webflow’s requirements:

    • Supported formats: JPG, PNG, GIF, SVG
    • Maximum file size: 4MB
    • File name should not contain special characters

  2. Clear your browser cache and try uploading in an Incognito/private browsing window. This helps rule out any browser extension conflicts or cached data issues that might interfere with the upload process.

  3. If the issue persists, check your internet connection stability, as intermittent connectivity can interrupt file uploads.

On the surface at least, it’s indicating that you can’t create your item yet because you have missing fields or a value out of range- some form of validation error.

Try create draft, then queue to publish.
