My site has other pages that use form elements for another purpose, so it is not appropriate to use reCAPTCHA to validate all forms.
Is there a way to protect one form only?

Not natively.
If your goal is spam prevention, I recommend you switch your form handler to Basin. The service is low-cost and phenomenal spam detection and handling. I use it for 100% of my clients now.
The setup I typically use is-
- Form submits to Basin
- No recaptcha needed
- Basin sends the email notification to the client, no unsubscribe link issues
- Webflow’s form handler is not involved, so no spam issues, and no form submission limit
- SA5 integrates the form with the Basin handler so that the Webflow form success message displays as normal
