HOW to unlink CMS collection items easily?

hi guys, is there any hack or short cut for unlinking cms item, so that i can add a new one and re-link .

If you mean collection-list linking- when it has bound sub-elements the collection you’re bound to is locked. However you can still click on that selector, and use the up-down arrow keys to toggle it and select a different collection binding.

It’s slightly risky-

  • You can’t see clearly what you’re binding to, just a name
  • Collections, multi-refs, all in the same list at the same level in that UX
  • If you pick something with a different structure you still need to check and rebind the elements within, but there is some indication of which ones are now “broken” i.e. bound to a field that does not exist in the new datasource you’ve selected.

But it’s still useful in some cases.
