How to stay on the same page when changing languages?

When I change languages on my website, it always loads my home page no matter which page I was previously on.

How do I make it so that visitors stay on the same page when changing languages?

Hi Tak,

You have an unusual site design for a multilingual site, but for a small site that should be manageable. Basically you’ve built two sites in the same folders, and then you’re switching between two sets of pages-

  • English pages at paths like /about
  • Traditional Chinese pages at the same paths, plus -tc

You can use script to support that navigation, but I’d recommend that you use Webflow’s new Components and component properties to do this.
