How to shrink only the padding part first when resizing the website window

Hi,

I’ve adjusted the view on PC and tablet, but when resizing the window, the website will go weird, I hope to shrink/ resize the padding part first, instead of make the content part smaller and wrap. I have change the padding part to percentage, but still it looks weird, especially when I have column inside.

So my question is, is there anything wrong I did with the padding?
and is there a way to control the in-between of PC and Tablet view?

I have this question for my whole site, multiple pages. Here’s a link for one of the page

Thanks so much!

I’m not sure columns are good idea. In this case I’d use flexinstead of columns.

I’ve noticed that I can fix part of the problem if I put a ‘container’ inside each part, but it doesn’t work for the situation when I have the side padding as 15%
