How to remove a span class on a text element?

Hi there,

Please apoligize for the silly question but, how do I remove a class that I applied in a text element without destroying all the text contained within that text element ?

Double click in the text field, highlight the bold text (like you did to make in bold in the first place), and remove the bold from the little styling pop up.
