How to place 2 grids side by side?

Hi!

I have been wanting to build by home page like the example portfolio here: https://www.verlichen.com/
I haven’t been able to figure out how to have 2 grids of contents found in https://www.verlichen.com/ 's homepage side by side.

Also, how do I do the effect on each image where when you hover over the image, it fades and the title and description can be seen?

You can place both grids inside of a parent grid. I use this technique often, especially for dynamic layouts like search results.
