How to make element overflow outside of slider element?

Hey!

Since the slider element has a mask associated with it, I can’t make an element overlap. To be more clear, here’s the screenshot of my Photoshop mockup showing the starburst overlapping the blue strip:

And when I get it into Webflow, the mask is cutting off the top of the starburst:

Would it work to expand the top of the mask to accommodate the starburst and then just push the top of the blue strip down to achieve this overlap effect? Is there a better way to do this?

Hi @adiggy

Here’s how I would do it by adding a negative margin to the mask and some padding inside:

Of course, then you will need to fix the paddings and margins of the other content in your slider.

Hope this is helpful.

Yes, this is perfect! It worked! http://wheaton-group.webflow.io/

Thank you so much for your help, Anna!
