How to make background image zoom on hover?

Hello, I’ve been trying to make my background images on my columns to zoom on hover for the last few hours to no avail. I’ve also tried all the solutions from the forum but it hasn’t worked for me. All it does it make the image/column larger - but I just want the image inside the column to be larger, but still being masked by the size of the column.

I want the image behind the words “Collection” and “Products” to zoom in slightly on hover. Help would be much appreciated!

Maybe if you set your background image something like 200% width and on hover 220%
