How to edit H1 and Paragarph text boxes

I can’t edit any of the text in the center of the screen. I’d like to change it to say something else. It’s not showing up on the right hand side as editable under the settings tab, even though it is a text block.

Hi Michael, Yes. Both of these:
H1 Paragraph Large
P Detail Text

So do I need to drag them out of the background wrapper to be able to edit? Even when I click on the text in the Navigator these are the only options shown to me:

None of these give me an option to edit the text that is shown. I want to replace it with my name.
