How to dynamically change view from grid 'tile view' to a 'list view'?

Can anyone suggest how to with a click change a view of a portfolio from a grid of CMS images to a list view of the same source CMS?

To swap between a masonry type view to a scrollable list view.

You can use a Tab element for that, with two tabs. One will contain a grid and the other a list. You’ll not change the list, rather you’ll swap from a list to another.
