How to Create a Lottie File as an Apple Motion User

Hey,
Is there any way I could create a lottie file easily if I do my animating in Apple Motion? Perhaps a good way to create an animation in Motion and then import it to After Effects in order to create a Lottie?
I am really hoping to start creating great animations for my websites but would prefer not to start animating in After Effects.

And I would like to know. Are .json files really only created by AF and a couple other programs?
