I’m completely new to coding. I want create and establish a web app that allows people to vote things up and and down, message users, and comment on content.
I’m completely open to learning code and what ever I need to do to make this a thing I have in head a reality.
Can anyone point me in the right direction as to what to learn, and how to go about it?
Also any great tutorials or sources of knowledge?
You mean like https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/comments/?
Similar, more I want to understand how to create that framework from scratch. And really understand the logic behind everything.
I just don’t know where to start learning,
I’ve been told node.js is great to learn and is basically server side js. So i figure I should start learning js and then move onto node down the line.
What do you think?
Also I checked out treeline via product hunt which i found interesting. But it seems as though they’ve sort of abandoned that project and just work on sails.js. So I say f*** it I’m just going to learn how to do it the right way and understand everything.
I would be more than willing to assist you in this build. Message me directly.
