How can I replace the homepage with a CMS post?

Hello,

Background: I want to create a site to house quarterly and annual reports. The quarterly reports will be made using a CMS template. The annual reports will be a more flashy page. I want the homepage to be the most recent CMS item / quarterly report.

Question: How to I replace the homepage with the newest quaterly report from the CMS? For example; I want the newest report’s url to be company.com and not company.com/reports/2023-march. Are there any hidden settings or clever work arounds? I used to do this wordpress.

Note: Am unable to share a link because the reports are confidential.

You can’t do that like in WordPress where you can automatically switch, but you can easily create the samebehaviour by just using a collection list limited to your latest report and add everything of the template page inside that collection list wrapper
