How can I display a grid single column on mobile, two columns on desktop?

I’m looking to display the “recent work” section of my site differently on mobile.
I’d like a single column to display on mobile, whilst displaying the current two columns on desktop.

Is this possible?

Just click Edit Grid and remove a column. Done.
