It seems that my home menu link is always blue. How do I troubleshoot fixing this?

This is due to the current state being applied. Simple remake the CSS in the button to match the CSS of the other buttons. Hope this helps. 
It is the same class as the other buttons. ‘navigation-text’ is the class that I have on all menu links.
