Hero wrapper/container image

hey all -

new to webflow and trying to ascertain the size of my hero wrapper image to update to current brand standard? I don’t see a creative element in my assets list that makes sense for a home page image.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Tracie! Hopefully I’m understanding you properly, you’re curious about how to recreate the hero image in the example in Webflow? Just looking at the example, I would build this by creating a Div block with 100vw/100vh sizing (here’s a quick rundown on VW/VH) and add the image as the background of that container. To move on a bit from that, it looks like this may have been added as a fixed whole-page background, and the sections under it are styled with their own background colors / images to aid in creating the scroll effect.

Hope this helps! Let me know if I can clarify anything.

Hi - So where do I load a new graphic to replace the existing one? TY

Hi, Tracie. If you have a current project you’re working on, please provide a read-only link to your Webflow project so we can take a look. Instructions are here. Thanks!

I need to know the size for the homage page image - like what we are currently using - and where to load it.

Tracie,

Select this element image then you can click on this in the styles panel image to replace the image with whatever you’d like. The image that is currently there is 1732x1155 which you can see in the details that appear when you click on the image.

thanks for that info. Now I need to find where I can remove the blue overlay that covers the hero header image. I see it in background in the element, but not an overlay. Please advise. TY

It’s right in the same spot the background image was. Webflow allows you to stack background elements to achieve effects like this.

thanks for the guidance so far. have updated my home page image and made no changes to the title text on that page - but now in my mobile format, it covers the logo on a phone. Please advise what I need to change to adapt the mobile format.
