Help with horizontal scroll on hover interaction

Anyone solved this? I’m struggling with that too. I need the animation to respond to dynamic content.

I have 1 to 5 elements on the scroll. So it varies from 350px to 1750px. I’ve tried using percentage but it doesn’t work.
