Help with div block or line animation

I can’t figure a way to have the following divider outline enlarge horizontally (left to right on hover).
The bottom image is a none state and the top the hover. Appreciate any help on this topic.

the trick is to have two line in a div block
and the larger one is absolute on top of the first.
at start the width of the larger one is 0px and when animation start it animate to 100% or the target value of the full width.
Only way to do that.
