Help with Background Image being Dynamic

I have a tile on a homepage which pulls the background image from the News section which is a dynamic content. It works but the image does not change when new posts are added and as I am using it as a background image I do not have access to the advanced settings re. sort order etc.

Does anybody have any ideas?

The site just uses one of the basic templates. It is the ‘News Tile’ which is the issue.
