Help with a hidden section and sticky navbar

Hey guys,

I m working on my 2nd website with webflow and there are two things I wanted to ask this helpful community:

  • What do you think about the sticky navbar I re created with webflow interactions? is it displaying well on your computers too? the idea was to get something like this:

  • Further down the page when clicking on “Meet the Founders” It seems like the section is appearing smoothly with the transition I wanted but it’s content is appearing right away… any ideas how I can smooth things up?

Here is the public link:

Thanks a lot for your help and keep up the good work folks!

Hi @nicofromba, for me, the navbar is working well  About the item with the Meet the Founders interaction, select the theteam element and set that to overflow hidden. That should then prevent the text etc from overflowing the element, before the interaction is completed. See my screenshot as a reference. Let us know if that helps

Thanks a lot for your answer @cyberdave! indeed the overflow hidden worked like a charm

I was just wondering why all I could find in this forum about sticky navbar always required Jquery script and others customs code when it’s actually possible to recreate it only with webflow interactions? Is there something I’m missing? or higher risk it won’t work with different screen resolutions or web browser? or something else?

I m really happy to see it worked fine for you but I m just trying to understand why no one published a solution like the one I did which is actually simple.

Thanks a lot!

Cheers from Buenos Aires

Hi @nicofromba, awesome sticky nav! I used the same method you shared and added it to our demo kit. Take a peek for yourself  Click on the page titled “Sticky Navigation”.
