I deleted an old site a while back and the .webflow.io still shows up in search engine. I don’t have the site to go in to hide the indexing or add custom code to hide the robot crawling. How can i get the url to not appear in google? I haven’t updated the site in 3+ years.
If the site is unpublished and returns 404, https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/removals might be what you’re looking for.

It takes a while for search engines to re-crawl your site and remove your listing once it figures your site is deleted.
