Having trouble with the search bar

i have 2 issues with the search bar,

  1. how do i replace the “search” in the button with a symbol like a magnifying glass.

  2. how do i change the input field to underlap and surround the search button, to something akin to this

this has been particularly frustrating, as any change i make to the input affects the button and vice versa.
