Having Trouble With Click Trigger On Elements (Only Hover Works For Me)

Good morning everyone,

Hope everyone is having a great Wednesday. I’d really appreciate your help figuring out why I cannot make these three elements trigger a lightbox element’s appearance by click rather than hover. They are in the third body of text on the Who We Are page of the site (Who We Are). Right now the “subject matter expertise” and two subsequent underlined text elements are set to show their lightboxes by way of hover because the click animation will not work for me. To improve the experience, I’d like to have them appear on click to make it a bit more user-friendly and of course I need the elements to be tappable on the phone and tablet.

Please let me know how you think I can make these elements make their lightboxes appear on click rather than hover. I’ve attached an image to show you exactly what underlined elements I’m referring to.

I have a “meet the team” section on zf-beta-home page (note not default page when link below is clicked). Locate the meet the team section (near bottom of zf-beta-home page) and you can see the interactions created to show the team member info on click.
