I’ve avoided real estate projects in Webflow for a long time — not because of design, but because MLS feeds tend to turn into a maintenance and compliance mess.
Recently I needed a way to keep listing data updated in Webflow without IDX widgets, plugins, or front-end search. Just clean CMS collections that stay in sync so the site can be designed normally.
I ended up building a small, backend-only sync that:
-
pushes approved MLS listing data into Webflow CMS
-
updates on a fixed schedule
-
stays completely out of the UI layer
No IDX UI, no maps, no lead capture — just data flowing into CMS so designers can do their thing.
I put a simple page up here in case it’s useful to other designers who’ve been avoiding real estate for the same reason:
This isn’t a public launch — just sharing a pattern that’s been working for me. Happy to answer questions or hear how others are handling MLS in Webflow.
