GSAP breakpoints

Hello,
A simple question really, have you all gotten the option to disable GSAP on certain breakpoints?
The notification that the feature is available came a couple of days ago, but the option is still not visible. Working on some animations for my client and would love to use the IX3 and not code the animations, but need to disable them on mobile.
Thanks!

Hi there,

You can disable GSAP animations for specific breakpoints using conditional playback in Webflow. Here’s how to set it up:

The breakpoint icon, located at the top middle or bottom right of the canvas, allows you to manage animations across different screen sizes. When you access the interaction settings, you can specify which breakpoints should trigger the animation. If you disable an animation for the mobile breakpoint, it will automatically stop playing when the viewport matches that breakpoint’s dimensions.

For more detailed information about working with breakpoints, you can check out our documentation here: https://help.webflow.com/hc/en-us/articles/33961300305811-Breakpoints-overview

Hopefully this helps! If you still need assistance, please reply here so somebody from the community can help.

Hey @Lazar_Djordjevic1 ,

Yes, I have not yet got that feature update in my sites as well.

But I can see the Runs on page option when I open the site in read-only link mode as of now.

Hopefully, all of it will be rolled out gradually for everyone to explore and build with.

Yeah, that’s what I was talking about, the Conditional playback option to completely disable GSAP on smaller breakpoints.
Hopefully they roll it out soon for everyone since they said on the Webflow Conf it will be out by the end of the month (september)

It looks like you’ve already got the page scoping one, but not the breakpoints/motion preferences feature set. They touch different parts of the code, so the rollout strategy is different for each part.

We’re continuing the rollout of these feature sets this week, so you should see both soon!
