Grid in Tabs limits the box-Shadow

Hello everyone,
I have a section with tabs inside it. I set the Width of the Tabs to 70%. The grid inside the Tab has no width limit. I want to grow each element on the grid and give it a box shadow, when hovering on it. Unfortunatly the Box Shadow looks very fake because it gets cut of. Do you have any Ideas on how to fix it?

I think I found it… the tabs contents layer has a default setting of overflow ‘hidden’, put it to ‘visible’
