Google Shopping Feed Issue

Hi, can anybody help with a major issue with Google Shopping Feed. I’m not sure it’s a Webflow issue or Google Shopping? Just received the following from Google, which my client is happy about.

Dear Google Merchant Center User,

Merchant Center Account: RecommerceIT (664083033)

We’ve found product data that doesn’t meet the Shopping Ads requirements in your Merchant Center account. You have until the deadline below to update your account and products so that they meet Shopping Ads requirements. If the issues aren’t resolved by the deadline, your Merchant Center account will be suspended and your Shopping ads will no longer appear on Google.

Deadline: Jun 1, 2023

Your Merchant Center account presently does not meet the following Shopping Ads Product Data Specification requirements:

Inaccurate prices (due to inconsistent prices between the landing page and checkout pages on your website)

For one or more of your products, the price displayed on the product landing page is not consistent with the price shown on the checkout pages on your website. Please ensure that the price you display on your landing page is exactly the same as the price shown on the corresponding checkout pages on your website.

Some common reasons for this inconsistency include:

Added fees or charges at checkout: If the product price is higher at checkout due to additional fees that are only added at the time of checkout, those fees should instead be disclosed in Merchant Center by:

  • Bundling added fees and charges with the applicable shipping costs. For example, service fees, handling fees, carrier-related fees, and state fees must be included in the total value submitted in the shipping [shipping] attribute or using the Merchant Center shipping services.

  • Including added fees and charges in the base price of the product via the priceattribute. These fees must then be included both in the price displayed on the landing page and in the price shown during checkout and not itemized at checkout.

Different VAT rates for different destinations: If the product price significantly increases due to higher VAT rates for certain countries, you should submit the product separately for each of these countries, and include the higher VAT rate in the product price. Learn more about tax settings

Please make the necessary updates to comply with all data quality requirements on prices.
