Google Optimize was causing massive load time for my site, hosted on webflow. My time to TTI (time to interact) was 5.5 seconds.
You probably understand up much anxiety was had every time you load a page, there’s 5 seconds of white screen.
It took a long time for me to come through my sight, reformatting images to jpeg2000, then compressing them on tinypng… And on and on.
My experience, use this at your discretion. It got so frustrated I could punch a baby or too.
So if anyone is looking for a needle in a haystack. Check there.
