I’d like to show a list of articles sourced via a Google Alert RSS feed URL from a Custom CMS Field. For example, I would create a Google Alert RSS URL field in a collection. The idea is that each Collection Record would contain a Google Alert RSS URL unique to that record’s topic. The result would be a list of articles on the page sourced via the Google Alert.

Any suggestions on how to do this or using a 3rd party tool?

I do not want to insert the contents returned from the RSS Feed into my CMS. I just want to display the contents on the page.

There are a ton of options on Google, but here’s one from Elfsight.

Elfsight looks good, however I was hoping for something free. All these monthly fees for this and that add up. I’ve hunted around Google and couldn’t find anything (free exists for Salesforce and Wordpress but I couldn’t find anything that is website generic or specifically for Webflow). Thanks for the suggestion.

It says “for free”, was that salesspeak for “here’s a free cookie, #2 will cost you”? I didn’t dig.

It’s not hard to write your own script to pull the RSS, the trickier part is merging that into a design you like to create a nice end results.

You might be able to achieve something like this with HTMX but I’d generally build it custom or find a good free tool that simplifies styling.
