Focus margin increase move whole page on focus

I have created some links for my blog posts to select by tag.
I have created a border round these links on focus.
When you focus the link, the border appears, but the whole page is moved (slightly).
How do I stop this?

Hey @Jonathan_Holden

Try adding the same border on the none state. You can make it transparent. The reason behind the move is that the element doesn’t have a border and when visited the border appears and adds extra height and width.
