Hello,

I’m about to build a webflow site. And I was wondering if it’s possible to do the following:

  • Floating widget that has icons for navigation, comments, and audio
  • Floating widget is located in the upper left corner and then follows the user while scrolling through the page and site
  • Floating widget should be able to display text, images, audio and video
  • Navigation opens when clicked on navigation icon in widget and full navigation displays in floating widget
  • Comment, Image or video appear in floating widgets when user scrolls over certain page section that include topics relevant to comment
  • Audio icon flashes when user scrolls over audio content or audio elements in the page, the audio icon can then be clicked to play the audio content
    Any feedback would be much appreciated.

Yes, it is possible to achieve the requirements you outlined for the Webflow site, though it would require a combination of Webflow’s native features and custom code.

  1. He is asking how to build a full “floating” application inside an application, for that you will be better not to use WF but custom code only.
  2. He didn’t mentioned how this “floating” app inside app will work on mobile devices.
  3. IMO this whole “floating” concept doesn’t make sense from developer point of view
