Fixed background image not replicated automatically to other devices in Webflow Designer

Hi,

I created a Fixed background DIV and attached the background image in a Desktop which Fixed, normally this DIV with its background image should automatically been created in a tablet and mobile devices.

However I had to do the same thing for each device, The DIV was there but the background image wasn’t so I had to include the background image for each device (tablet / mobile portrait/mobile).

Any ideas why this happen?

Thanks for reaching out about your background image not being available on smaller breakpoints.

This definitely sounds like odd behavior.

I tried reproducing this behavior on my end, but was unable to as you may note in the following short screencapture: Screen Recording 2019-01-17...

Can you please try the following:

(1) Try to reproduce the error while being logged into Webflow using Incognito mode with browser extensions turned off: Browse in private - Computer - Google Chrome Help

(2) If the problem persists, please take a screenshot of your Console and send it to me: Image 2018-04-10 at 12.28.2...

Thanks for replying back to me.

Please find a (Screenshot1) video, you can see that I have created an image background that has not been replicated in the Webflow Designer tablet and mobile device.

However in the normal browser the DIV with the background image is there (see Screenshot2)

However when checking the real device such as my iPhone you see the following screenshot, the background image is zoomed and the Hero text is not placed as it is in the Webflow Designer.
