Finsweet CMS Slider on Webflow (smooth / free scrolling behavior)

Hi everyone,

I’m using the Finsweet CMS Slider on Webflow, and right now it swipes one full slide at a time.

What I want is a smooth / free scrolling behavior, like an iPhone carousel where users can stop anywhere instead of snapping to each slide.

Is there a way to enable this in the Finsweet slider configuration?
Any help or code examples would be appreciated.

If you’re using Webflow’s slider + Finsweet CMS slider, than fundamentally it’s still a Webflow slider and designed to show 1 slide at a time.

If you’re using the Finsweet Components slider ( paid ), it may have more capabilities.

Usually when designers want more versatility in the slider design and CMS integration they use swiper.js

Finsweet usually has some good demos and videos you can learn from, this looks pretty close to what you’re trying to build.

However if you by “smooth” you mean no stepping or snapping at all, I don’t see that typically in a slider. That sounds more like a marquee or just a horizontal scrolling area. I’d probably go with the approach FS uses in the video build example, that looks quite smooth to me.
