I’ve published my website however the favicon will not change, I’ve made the changes and it shows in the settings but when I view the website live it gives a different favicon.
Also, when I search for the website in google it comes up with untitled? I’m not sure how I can change this? - in the project settings I’ve put the name and meta description in.
Any help on this would be amazing! Thank you, read only link below
Everything looks fine in your published Webflow site. What you’re seeing in Google is cached from the page you had previously on that domain mid-August;
Note the http:// rather than https://, etc.
If you look at the Google cache to see what HTML it’s indexed, you can see the problem. It has no icon, no title, and no content at all.
From what I can tell, it look like it’s a parking page that was provided by your domain registrar, but it wasn’t designed for SEO. Google indexed it, and got nada.
You just need to resubmit your site to Google for indexing. Setup Google Search Console for your domain at https://search.google.com, for free. and add your sitemap.xml, you should see the index updated within a week.
Thank you so much ! I’ve submitted the site to google and just waiting for the verification. When you found the site, and clicked into it did you see the pink ‘m’ next to the Tevy Services? As I also cannot change that and it’s driving me crazy haha,
