Making assets such as expandable boxes with animated interactions (see image) often takes a lot of time to set up. This is things that I often use in many projects and it would be very nice if these things could be saved as a Symbol and exported to other sites so that I dont have make these assets from scratch for each site!
This is on the wish list and the team at Webflow are aware that this is highly wanted. No ETA on this though.
What I do at the moment, is to create a component website where I build out all these various components and various varations of a component (different animations on dropdowns, navs, buttons etc and then I just duplicate this site when I start on a new project. By this, I got all interactions set, all animations in place and all I need to to is just style the components according to what I want to achieve.
It takes a bit of a time to make this component site, but it saves a lot of time when you’re going to create a new, real project.
