Hello Team, We are exploring the possibility of integrating our search functionality, which operates within an iframe, with Webflow.

Specifically, we would like to know if Webflow can listen to events triggered from the iframe. If this is possible, we can implement a solution where our iframe sends an event to Webflow, which could then handle redirection to a specified page.

While we are willing to try this approach, we are uncertain about how responsive or effective it would be. Could you please confirm if Webflow supports listening to events from an iframe? If so, are there any recommended practices or limitations we should be aware of?

Webflow itself does not natively support direct integration with iframes for event listening or communication, but this functionality can be implemented using JavaScript. Web browsers allow communication between an iframe and its parent page through the postMessage API, provided both parties explicitly handle such communication and adhere to cross-origin policie
