Editor reloads every 15 minutes or so

Hi;

I’ve had the editor reloading about every 15 minutes on longer pages when I’m editing them. Is there anything I can do, or not do, to avoid this?

Also, it gets sluggish as it gets longer. So same question, any approach to avoid that?
