Editor Covering Footer

The editor is covering the footer so editors can’t edit the copyright text. What’s the workaround for that?

Hi there,

Thank you so much for reaching out about being unable to edit the copyright text in the footer.

A workaround would be to create a footer symbol, and hav the footer symbol available on a page as an element to edit. For example, you can create a page called “project elements” and place the footer symbol on that page so that it can be edited.

Also, another workaround (not the best) would be to create a CMS Collection item with the footer content so that it can be edited as a Collection item.

Hopefully this is helpfully

wouldn’t be so much easier if webflow just adjusted the editor so it doesn’t cover part of the website?

Typically the Editor will push all other content above it in the viewport. Are you able to scroll down to access the footer text?

Can you please share your Read-Only link so I can take a look at your site and test from this end?

Thanks in advance.
