Edit the icon which shows up in the tab title

Hi there…

I would like to change the icon in the top left corner of the tab title for our website to match the new updated logo which appears in the website itself…how do I do this?

That’s your favicon, it’s managed in your site dashboard on the general tab.

Thank you for your help. I have updated the favicon and workspace, but for some reason it has not updated the icon at the top of the tabs (it has updated inside webflow).
Is this a normal problem?

Hmmm, unfortunately republishing did not affect the outcome…

Are these current? If so yours might be cached.

The more yellow looking logo is our current logo - the one that is more teal is outdated.

If that’s the old one, you need to upload your new ones through the site dashboard, and republish.

What program would you use in order to make an image 32 by 32 pixels?

I have Canva, but it’s minimum size is 40 by 40 pixels.

Entirely depends on the source art.

For more professional clients I usually receive illustrator or EPS files, and use illustrator to generate it. Photoshop is

If your source is bitmap or SVG, try Figma, it will take a bit of learning to understand the export process but it’s free and flexible.
