Duplicating site doesn't remove unused images

Hi all and @brando, @thesergie

I want to use an existing site to have as my style base. Therefore duplicated the existing site, threw away redundant pages including content, moved everything I wanted to keep to a temp page and also kept the homepage with a footer in it. Then I duplicated that site too to, after this step, have a site without images (except a few).

You’ve already guessed: this 3rd site has all the images of the original site still in it!

Request: could you please please please bring the development of mass-removing assets forward?? Or at least restore the possibility to duplicate without unused images?

Thank you so much for sharing this @TomLamers! We currently have a better asset manager update in our backlog which you can track along for updates here with: https://wishlist.webflow.com/ideas/WEBFLOW-I-1057

Typically the images stay in the site because they are associated with background image styles or the images are still within the site on the canvas. I usually do a lookup in the sitename.webflow.css file from the published site to determine which classes are using the images in question.

Thx but they’re not background images but lightbox images and normal images. I’ve tried to use no background images at all
