I’m creating a website for a French Canadian company, and they need a French Canadian version (Primary Locale), and an English version (Secondary Locale).
So, my locales are:
Primary: French (Canada) fr-CA
Secondary: English (Canada) en-CA.
I designed and translated in both locales, and now want to publish my subdirectory for my second locale. However, I have an alert from Webflow upon publication that says “Duplicate locale subdirectory in request” (cf. screenshot) which doesn’t let me publish.
It is worth mentioning that I initially STARTED designing with my primary locale as English, and changed my primary locale early on to French.
I think that, because of this, Webflow already create a specific URL, and think I am publishing twice the same subdirectory.
What do you think is the problem, and what can I do to solve this?
Hello @Mathilde_N, Welcome to the community!
Is your second locale activated? Because on your third image it looks like you didn’t turn the Enable publishing on the subdirectory switch on
Is there a chance you already have a folder or page at /en-ca?
Other than that, I’d just try publishing as Pablo recommended, and then check to make sure the published site is working fine. You can share the link here if you want to community to help you identify any issues.
