I put a dropdown menu into my navbar. It works perfectly on desktop, but when I go to tablet and below the dropdown menu is visible even in the closed state. I’m…pretty lost.
I’ve tried changing display to ‘none’ for the closed state, that hides the open state as well.
The first screenshot is of the “closed” dropdown, the second after click, open.

Try removing the
Navigation Menu class from the dropdown list element. This seems to work ok for me - does this work as expected for you?
Yeah, that worked @iratefox ! Thank you so much!
I had the Navigation Menu class to copy the background color and such from the navbar. I still don’t understand what interactions caused the Navigation Menu class to cause the closed state to be visible.
Glad it worked.
Combo classes can sometimes become a little messy - in this instance, it had visibility rules in addition to colours which is why it impacted in the way it did.
It can be a bit confusing at first, but worth looking at Classes | Webflow University for more info on combo classes and preventing this sort of behaviour.
