Dropdown possible without dropdown element from webflow itself?

hi guys, i got a little problem here… I wanted to get my dropdown under the Navbar but this wont work even with z index… i guess because the dropdown is a Button in the Navbar and it cant get under itself?

So i tried it with animations, with works at first but when i hover out of the button, the dropdown disappears. What can i do here, so that this dropdown wont disappear when i go away from its menubutton trigger?

Sounds like there’s some kind of mouse hover element trigger that hides your menu on hover out.

But I honestly never used Webflow’s standard nav bar. I would suggest you just make your own nav bar from scratch. It’s a fairly simple process which you can complicate as much as you need.
