Dropdown Pops On Top of Navbar

Hi All!

I’m new and loving Webflow so far but I’ve run into a problem with a dropdown box in my nav_bar. My search on these forums turned up a few things to try but they did not seem to work.

Problem is that the dropdown list pops up right over the top of the nav_bar and does go down like it should. Below you have the first picture showing the dropdown menu without hovering over it.

And here is what it looks like when hovered over.

Any thoughts on what might be causing this? Any help is truly appreciated and thank you!!

So I think I found the problem. If you go into the dropdown menu and choose “settings” then click “open menu” you have the menu set to “flex” even though it is already a flex child? Setting it to “Block” seemed to fix the problem. Screenshots attached.

I thought something like this might be the problem but I wasn’t spotting it. Thanks a ton for your help! I hope to contribute in such ways as you have to the community at some point.
