So I can’t figure out how to have the multi-reference items list. On the Blog Posts Template I’d like to list the multiple authors of the post (which I chose in the Collections using the multi-reference), but I can’t figure out how to do that. Any help is appreciated.

On the template page, drag out a new dynamic list and set the source of the dynamic list to the multi-reference field that is used in the Blog Posts Template.
When the blog post is loaded on that page, the dynamic list set to multi-reference field as a source will display all the values from the Authors collection that are referenced by the blog post.
