Disabled interactions are still triggering animations?

I was trying to troubleshoot some cosmetic issues with my site’s scroll interactions and realized at a certain point my interactions aren’t updating on my site when I save changes to them. I’ve now disabled page-wide animations entirely and re-published my site but I’m still seeing the same old animations play both in preview and my published site across multiple browsers. No clue what’s happening and can’t really move on to fixing or updating my interactions till I get this solved - any advice?

The first step is to clear your browser cache and test the site in different browsers to rule out browser-specific issues. Next, check if any elements have overflow settings that might be blocking the interaction areas. You can do this by using the Navigator panel to inspect the elements with interactions.

For more complex interaction issues, you can also:

  • Verify that the triggers and actions are correctly set up in the Interactions panel
  • Ensure there are no overlapping elements that might interfere with the interaction areas
  • Check if any custom code or third-party scripts are conflicting with the interactions
  • Test the site in both desktop and mobile views to ensure responsive functionality

Hey @Aidan_Sakarya ,

When you say you have removed the interactions - do you mean the Interactions with GSAP? Because I cannot see any GSAP interactions on the element but when I switch to ‘Classic Interaction’ in the Interaction version at the bottom, I can see some scrolling in view triggers for some elements on the page.

Can you check the above once for all the elements where the interactions are applied and see if removing that does the trick for you?

If that’s not what you mean, can you share what animation specifically are you able to see on the live site so that it helps in troubleshooting.
